Shaun Norris' victory in the Africa Open Golf Challenge at the week has made him hungry for more.

The Pretoria-born Norris, who was on cloud nine after he lifted the prestigious trophy at the Fish River Sun Country Club, said he hopes to win another tournament on the tour.

Norris will get that chance when he tees off in the Vodacom Golf Challenge at the Pretoria Country Club from tomorrow until Sunday. He is aware of the challenges ahead of him but he is determined to face them head on.

"It was my first win on the Sunshine Tour and this is a sign of good things to come. But it is not going to be easy because the competition itself is very tough,'' he said.

He expects a strong challenge from those golfers who have not won any medals or finished in the top 20 bracket.

One of the dark horses who could spring a surprise could be Bafana Hlophe, who played extremely well in the Africa Open last weekend.

Hlophe, from the Soweto Country Club in Pimville, who has been struggling with his game, seems to be back in form and he stands a chance to better his performance this time round.

Eugene Marugi, who has not recovered fully from a snake bite, said he was inspired by James Kamte who won the Dimension Data Pro-Am in Sun City two weeks ago.
