The sky is the limit for the dynamic quartet, Soweto Opera Quadro.

Though they are not famous just yet, the group is starting to make the right noises in the music industry.

Next month they begin an extensive tour - aimed at promoting their music in Cape Town, Johannesburg and London.

Opera Quadro's Elliot Koena, Edward Mabunda, Bokang Sehau and Xola Mpo are clearly following in the footsteps of Afro Tenors - making opera accessible to the broader public, while not compromising on quality.

These versatile performers are capable of wrapping their finely-tuned vocal cords around anything from opera to jazz, Afro-pop, traditional music and gospel.

They launch their tour with performances at Cape Town's Baxter Concert Hall on Saturday, March 1. They will present two shows - at 5.30pm and 8.30pm respectively.

Thereafter, they fly to London's West End to take part in the South Africa Proud! Festival.

They also perform at Johannesburg's UJ Arts Centre, from April 15 to 27.
