All it takes is an SMS for parents and youths to enjoy the liberating, refreshing and empowering benefits of motivator Mike Muendane's effective life-coaching sessions.

Muendane, a respected motivational speaker and author, is also a reputable radio show host on the dynamics of personal goal-setting, self-mastery, change management and life coach guru.

He asserts that we are all born to succeed because inside each of us there is a great urge to succeed. We all have to make a choice and the consequences vary, based on when, why and how we made and followed the choices.

On one of his personal website entries, he says: "Whichever choice you make, the outcome will become your experience tomorrow; that outcome may be joy or regret.

"This means that the responsibility for choice cannot be passed on to anybody or anything, but remains yours up to eternity."

To attend the seminars, write the word Soul, followed by the name of your respective town, and then SMS it to 36196.

In the first set of seminars that were arranged recently, Muendane will be at Constitution Hill in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, once a month. Seminars for parents will be held on February 16, March 22, May 10, July 12 and September 20. Youth-focused seminars will take place on April 28, June 12 and June 26.

"We will cater for women on August 9," Muendane said.

Parent seminars will take place at the Zakheni Training Centre in Soshanguve, Pretoria, on March 15 and youth seminars will be held at the same venue on March 29. - Victor Mecoamere
