Boxing promoter Rodney Berman has promised to break the bank in his aim to convince Joseph Agbeko to come here and defend the IBF bantamweight title against Silence Mabuza.
The Ghanaian is based in America.
"I will do my best to bring him here," said Berman at Emperors Palace after Mabuza's stunning eight round destruction of Eden Sonsona, 19, on Saturday night.
A left hook to the solar plexus sent the tough as teak Filipino down for a count. Sonsona, who gave his all in the previous rounds, beat the count but indicated to referee Jorge Alonso (US) that he had had enough.
That was Mabuza's 17th short route win from 21 victories against two losses.
He also recorded the first defence of the IBO belt he won in May against Mbwana Matumla.
His fight with Agbeko is imminent. Mabuza is currently rated third by the IBF and that ranking should improve after his win on Saturday night.
Earlier on Saturday night Mabuza's stablemate at Nick Durandt's gym, former IBO junior featherweight champion Takalani Ndlovu, made a statement that he still has what it takes when he pulverised Raymond Sermona to submission in four rounds.
It was Ndlovu's comeback fight - his first under Durandt - since July last year.
In that fight Ndlovu was stopped in nine rounds by Steve Molitor for the IBF belt in Canada.
Meanwhile, Collin Nathan's young warriors Grant Fourie and Hekkie Budler continued with their winning ways.
Fourie needed only two minutes and 50seconds against Sheriff Ramanyimi in the junior featherweight fight while Budler dug deep to register a hard-earned points win over Sibusiso Twani in the junior flyweight class.
