A homeless woman from Sekhukhune who has been staying at different police stations since 2004 as part of victims support programme wants out.
Melidah Mokoana, 25, who cleans toilets at Sibasa Training College, said she wants the government to help her go back to school.
"I am not married, I have no child and I am still young. I want to go back to school," she pleaded yesterday.
Mokoana has a Grade 9 education.
She said she is part of a project for vulnerable children and she has provincial commissioner Calvin Sengane to thank for that.
"He knew of my plight from the mayor of Tubatse, Pinky Morema.
"My plea to them was that they must to assist me to go back to school.
"I was left homeless after my mother died in 2000," she said.
Mokoana said she was later sent to an RDP house in Burgersfort that had no windows, no electricity and no door.
"As an unemployed person I said it would be impossible for me to stay there."
