Newborn ditched

Police are searching for a woman who wrapped her newborn baby girl in a curtain and left her outside an Umlazi home on yesterday morning.

Captain Khephu Ndlovu said the baby was found outside a home in Umlazi's F Section, south of Durban.

Ndlovu said police took the infant to Prince Mshiyeni Hospital for a medical check-up.

"We will leave no stone unturned until we arrest her," Ndlovu said. - Canaan Mdletshe
