This letter is actually intended for Johan Nel, but I'm sure there won't be any newspapers where he's going.

I am disgusted at, and sad about the alleged atrocities Nel committed and my heart goes out to the families of the victims.

There can never be any ideological, religious or personal justification for murder.

You deserve four life sentences Nel because your action amounts to nothing more than the last sick vestige of an appalling political past that is best forgotten.

It's time that some South Africans stop living the 1820s because all they're doing is jeopardising life for the rest of us.
