Events of the past few weeks have left me very depressed. Firstly, a young white male shot and killed four people at Skielik in North West without provocation.

The killings were most definitely racist and the DA plays political games by saying it was not a racist act. According to the DA, the young man only has a penchant for killing black people. We are not fooled.

If he likes killing so much, why does he not kill his parents, or go to white suburbs and kill a few white people there? No, he had to take his bakkie and drive to an informal settlement and murder four innocent people. The DA's interference and rebuttals are gross incitement and the sooner the party realises that black people are not stupid, the better. Black people will revolt if they are pushed into a corner.

Then I was in a complex with friends from out of town. A black man was reversing in the complex parking area when a young white male drove quickly past him. The black man nearly hit his car.

The young white male got out of the car and screamed "kaffir p*es". What made it worse was that the white man was with his wife and two young children. This was barbaric and I can assure you that if it was one of his own people, he would not have uttered that nauseating and racist remark. What lesson is he teaching his young children?

The government needs to pass legislation criminalising every act of racism. We have a terrible history of race relations and the sooner such laws are passed the better.
