Atang Mantutle was fetched from school on Tuesday by two men pretending to have been sent by his father.

All they had to do was have a man call the school pretending to be his dad. Fortunately, Atang was saved by the police who acted swiftly and arrested two suspects.

Creches must be particularly careful not to be duped so easily by people with ulterior motives.

Managers must exercise vigilance at all times.

And they must at least ensure that children are collected from school by their parents or guardians.
