No one was arrested but police believe the suspect is a Mozambican who is still in his home country for the festive season.
The discovery was made when police following a tip-off, raided the La Rochelle farm in Malelane.
"We found dagga plants at the farm and according to our information it belongs to a man who has gone home to Mozambique," said Malelane police spokesman Constable Bheki Nkosi yesterday.
