If wild life is your cup of tea, then SABC2's Wild Ltd programme is your show.

After two successful series, Wild Ltd is making a comeback to our screens. It is presented by Michelle Garforth, a journalist, international television anchor and producer. It started at 6pm yesterday.

The show continues to explore the plight of animals under threat and also recognises the growing and urgent public concerns for the planet and aims to raise public awareness of planetary needs and conservation management tools.

As usual, Garforth will explore the coastlines of Eastern Cape, moving inland to Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal.

The Wild Ltd team will also travel to exotic Madagascar and Namibia in search of conservation truths.

Another adventurous episode involves the successful relocation of a troop of baboons at CARE in Hoedspruit.

The team then tasks themselves to explore more humane alternatives to elephant culling with the head veterinarian from Disney's Animal Kingdom, Dr Mark Stetter, and bring it to the people.

Those who enjoy wild life can brace themselves for another exciting season as the team covers marine animals from African penguins to white sharks, junior jaws shark species to perlemoen and even the ocean's yellow gold - kelp.

"From butterflies to cheetahs, Wild Ltd will explore the conservation stories of people of this country and we hope to increase awareness of animals that are under threat; and to join efforts with citizens who care about their wellbeing," says Mathe Mosito, SABC2 marketing manager.
