South African teenager, Michael Misselhorn from Wellington International School in Dubai, could be set to follow in the footsteps of Kaka and Ronaldo after winning the opportunity to train as an AC Milan player thanks to Emirates.

The AC Milan team has been in Dubai for a week of winter training and in the build-up to their arrival, Dubai Eye 103.8FM and Al Bayan, in association with Emirates, held a competition for 40 young football fans to have the chance to train for two days with an AC Milan coach.

At the end of the two days of training, the AC Milan coaching staff chose one lucky UAE-based youngster to have the opportunity of a lifetime and travel to Italy and train in Milan. After being chosen, Michael said: "I have really enjoyed the two days of training with the AC Milan coach and to be selected to win the trip to Milan is incredible, AC Milan is definitely one of the top teams in the world."

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Emirates' Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations Worldwide, said: "I would like to congratulate Michael on winning the chance to train with AC Milan in Italy." - Sowetan
