"An American was wounded and a Sudanese driver killed from gunshots," on Monday, an employee with the US embassy said without specifying whether the American citizen is a diplomat.
"Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a US embassy vehicle shortly after midnight as it was driving down Road 60, in the central district of Al-Amrat," the employee said.
