However, the followers were disappointed as Fanteni failed to score but team coach Craig Roslee told Sowetan: "I think Thembinkosi was under pressure since it was announced that he is going to Israel, but I am happy that he is leaving the team on a high note and we promised him that we will fight until the last game."
The visiting team's coach, Manqoba Mngqithi, said: "I strongly felt that we should have punished Ajax in the first half but we relaxed and they came back to equalise, but we are happy to go home with an odd point."
Fanteni fluffed two golden scoring opportunities in the 6th and 57th minutes with only the visitors' goalkeeper, Nkosana Maseko to beat.
While Arrows gave the Urban Warriors' defence manned by Nazeer Allie, Brett Evans, Eduardo Ferreira and Bageta Dikilu a torrid time with their slick short passes, they failed to find the net.
Russell Mwafulirwa was unlucky in the 40th minute when his shot slipped through Maseko's hands but the keeper managed to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
Three minutes before the interval, the visitors took the lead through Musa Bilankulu who converted a cross from Joseph Musonda.
The Urban Warriors came back strongly in the second half and were rewarded in the 59th minute, when Granwald Scott took on Arrows' defence before passing the ball to Mwafulirwa who slammed the ball home to level the scores.
