The African People's Convention spokesman thinks becoming an alternative to the ANC is like being in an organised seance, as manifested in his letter to Sowetan of December 19 with the headline "APC offers an alternative to the ANC".

He is pursuing outlandish phantoms when he thinks it is as easy as crossing the floor with more than 40 seats he and his caboodle stole.

It is also a falsification of history to purport that "the exigencies of history have led to the formation of the APC".

It was sheer opportunism, since his party came into being as a result of the political thuggery called floor-crossing.
