The women's Under 17 national team management are bitterly disappointed at the withdrawal of Botswana from the World Cup qualifying game the two were meant to play next month.

The women's Under 17 national team management are bitterly disappointed at the withdrawal of Botswana from the World Cup qualifying game the two were meant to play next month.

The South Africans say they received a letter from CAF, informing them of Botswana's decision to withdraw from the competition last week.

"We need game time and competition, and them withdrawing like this is a setback for us," team manager Fran Hilton-Smith said.
