Fans of Democratic Republic of Congo superstar Koffi Olomide, who booked for his cancelled performance in Johannesburg last Thursday, have until January 30 to reclaim their money, the organisers said this week.

Olomide was booked to perform at the Standard Bank Arena but the Joburg concert was aborted when his 22-member band could not find a flight from Kinshasa to Johannesburg.

Olomide himself had arrived in earlier in the week.

The band was also booked to perform in Polokwane over the weekend.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Olomide's 22-piece band, Quartier Latin, was unable to board their scheduled and confirmed flight from Kinshasa to Johannesburg on Wednesday.

At the weekend Olomide was expected to join Ringo, Nthando, Tsepho Tshola, Kelly Kumalo, Umanji and local Limpopo musicians, including Bigger, Hard Road Jazz Band, Weru, Raymond, Colbert Makwebo and Combo at Chuenespoort in Polokwane.
