A month-old relationship between DJ Sbu and Audi SA has come to an abrupt end.
The luxury car company has recalled the silver Audi TT it had lent to Sbu for publicity purpose.
DJ Sbu, real name Sbu Leope, last week was caught driving at a high speed of 257km/h between Grasmere tollgate and Golden Highway, south of Johannesburg.
The popular Ukhozi FM and TV presenter pleaded guilty and was fined R7 000.
Audi SA spokesman Meena Motiram said: "Audi SA does not condone reckless driving. As a celebrity, we expected DJ Sbu to act responsibly."
DJ Sbu has confirmed he had returned the car.
