Orlando Pirates hope to acquire the services of four experienced players, reports Meshack Khotha.

This was revelead by Bucs coach Owen da Gama after his charges drew 1-all with Free State Stars in a pulsating Premiership encounter at Johannesburg Stadium on Saturday.

It was the hosts' second draw in four days after they were held by Platinum Stars by the same margin in a league game in Rustenburg last Wednesday.

"We need to reinforce the team if we hope to do well," said Da Gama, without specifying which departments.

Judging by the weekend's results Pirates need a goal poacher, a defender and a cool-headed midfielder.

Bucs scored through Ralph Matema in the 10th minute while Stars equalised through Prince Olomu on the stroke of the hour. Stars' mentor Kinnah Phiri, said:

"My boys showed character in the second half as they played with vigour, pushing their opponents into their own danger zone."
