We saw a bleak 2006 festive season due to a shortage of soft drinks. We don't want a festive upset caused by a power black-out this time. We can attribute the problem to Eskom, but the finger will be pointed to the government.

The government department that is responsible for providing electricity will be our hero if it manages to avert power failures. The nitty-gritty can be dealt with after 2010, or else we will have a lot of disappointed people across the world visiting South Africa. A better, comfortable life first.
