Free State Stars have warned Moroka Swallows that they will clip their wings when they battle it out in an Absa Premiership match today at Goble Park Stadium at 3.30pm.

"We watched Swallows' game against Platinum Stars where they won the match 6-2. They were pretty good," said Louis "The King" Tshakoane, Ea Lla Koto publicist.

"That match was more about James Chamanga, who equalled Daniel "Mambush" Madau's record of scoring five goals in a single game.

"But we are not going to focus on Chamanga; Swallows have a number of great players who should not be underestimated.

"We have been doing well and our supporters are used to smiling on their way home after every game. We cannot afford to disappoint them this time round.

"There won't be any bird, no matter the size, flying at Goble Park. We have bought enough scissors to get their wings, they will all be grounded.

"Our plan is to finish the 2007 campaign perched at the top of the table. There is nothing impossible with our performance.

"The boys are looking forward to maintain our unbeaten run on home soil," said Tshakoane, whose club are lying second on the log.

Tshakoane said they will also be meeting the Bohlokong Football Association as part of their recruitment campaign to enable them to work closer with all local sides.

On the other hand, Swallows' general manager Sipho Xulu said they were looking forward to yet another comprehensive win.

"I don't want to make any predications about the number of goals we will score, but one thing for certain is that we will win the game."

The focus on this match will be on the joint Premiership top scorers, Diyo Sibisi of Stars and Chamanga, who have each scored seven goals to date.
