I later read that Selebi told President Thabo Mbeki that he was maintaining the friendship because Agliotti was a police informant.
Agliotti has now been found guilty of serious crimes and will never be able to offer an informant's services again. Finish and klaar.
My question to Selebi is: now that Agliotti has admitted guilt, can you please state on record if you are still his friend? It's a simple issue and a simple question. Can I please get a simple answer.
