The Eastern Cape provincial government's 2010 World Cup unit are luring more soccer greats back into the sport to help in the development of the sport in the area.

Gogo Manqoyi, the unit's strategic manager, said they were delighted that a provincial structure of yesterday-year players has finally been established.

"We started with a road show to all the seven districts, covering all the municipalities to recruit the legends back into football," said Manqoyi.

Manqoyi said the selected Eastern Cape provincial team will play against the 70/80 Legends at Bhisho Stadium tomorrow. Noxolo Abraham-Ntantiso, Eastern Cape MEC for sports and culture, will conduct the opening ceremony of the tournament. - Ramatsiyi Moholoa
