Santa Claus, the Christmas gift man, will be blessing Southgate mall with his presence tomorrow.

Santa's colourful parade that will attract the young ones starts on Columbine Road at 11:45am.

His fans will be given an opportunity to pose with him for pictures to cele- brate the festive season.

The man in red is expected to arrive at the centre in a rickshaw.

The parade will feature drum majorettes from the Sir John Adamson High School, walking Christmas trees, acrobatic elves, clowns on stilts and face-painting fairies, among others.

Proceeding down Columbine Road and into the centre at entrance 3, the parade will move to the Wimpy Court.

To ensure a fun-filled festive season for young patrons, Southgate mall will also be hosting an exciting Disney Jungle Book children's programme.

Fun activities will take place in the centre's Wimpy Court, from December 8 until December 23. Young ones can get their faces painted and everyday there will be art, craft and educational activities taking place.

Art and craft activities will include making puppets, Christmas cards, funky binoculars, coconut cocktails, animal masks, sweet holders among others.

That is not all: young ones will also get educational shows which will include where children can learn about snakes and reptiles and where they are found.
