After a disappointing showing on the road, where they dropped six valuable points in two consecutive outings, Bloemfontein Celtic are now relying on their home turf to turn the tide on Sunday.
They hope to achieve this at the expense of the league's whipping boys Thanda Royal Zulu, whom they engage in an Absa Premiership match at the intimidating Seisa Ramabodu Stadium at 3.30pm.
Sello Nduna, Celtic's spokesman, described the match as a must-win for Phunya Selesele. Despite the two setbacks, Celtic are still third on the Premiership log, but are under pressure from Orlando Pirates in fourth place.
"We really need to beat Royal Zulu because we want to stay in touch with the teams that are on top of us on the log," said the likeable Nduna yesterday.
"Royal Zulu are a forceful team and we are not going to be lulled by their position [bottom] on the log. But they will find it difficult to upset us in front of our supporters."
The hosts will still be without injured midfielder John Maduka and forward Petrus Mahlatsi. But Cyrille Mubiala and Lebogang Mothibantwa could be fit.
Attempts to solicit comment from Royal Zulu officials drew a blank yesterday, but Roger Palmgren's side can upset Celtic if they are not taken seriously.
