Jacob "Cellular" Sakala suffered his first defeat as Winnerspark coach when his National First Division Inland Stream side lost by an embarrassing 4-0 to GaRankuwa United at Polokwane's Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
Sakala took over the coaching reins after the expulsion of Dan Malesela last month.
Reason Chiloane had reason to smile after scoring a hat trick for the side coached by Kenny Ndlazi. United's other goal was scored by Tebogo Moalakwena.
The defeat was described as a "wake-up call" by Winnerspark's publicist Trevor Lekalakala yesterday.
"This is not like a train smash because we are still capable of competing in this league," said Lekalakala, whose side remain fourth on the log despite the setback.
The win has lifted United from seventh position to sixth, on nine points from the same number of matches. Ndlazi could not be reached for comment yesterday.
Dynamos are still on second spot on the log after they drew 1-1 against Mpumalanga Black Aces at Atlantic Stadium in Witbank also on Sunday. Dynamos trail leaders FC AK by one point after Bahumi also drew 1-1 against league's new boys African Warriors in Eldorado Park on Saturday.
