Pretoria police are investigating two cases of murder and two of attempted murder following a shooting in a residential house in Erasmia, Pretoria, on Tuesday night.
Two people died and two were seriously wounded when five gunmen burst into a house and started shooting randomly.
The two wounded men were admitted to Kalafong Hospital in Atteridgeville. Police spokesman Inspector Paul Ramaloko said the police where unclear as to the motive.
"The four were seated and relaxing in the lounge of the house when they were surprised by the gunmen. It appears that they were held up but a battle ensued and the gunmen opened fire before fleeing the scene. No one has been arrested," said Ramaloko.
