My husband and I have been married for a year. Before we got married, we discussed having children. I am 25 and said to him that I wanted to have children soon and he agreed.

He has now changed his mind and says that we should wait because we have many expenses and there are things he wants to do before we are tied down with children.

It is easy for him because he has a child from a previous relationship. I don't want to wait any longer because I will be too old. Do you think I should just fall pregnant then he won't be able to say anything about it?

I really don't think it would be a good idea for you to fall pregnant without him agreeing. Even though I have no doubt that he would love his child, he might resent you and accuse you of betraying him.

This is a decision that must be taken together because it is probably one of the most important ones.
