Bidvest Wits will have to pull up their socks if they hope to beat Bloemfontein Celtic in the Absa Premiership game at Milpark Stadium tomorrow night at 8pm.

Wits have been struggling since the start of the season and are now ninth on the log.

They have collected 12 points from nine games, while Phunya Selesele are lying second with 17 points from the same number of matches.

George Mogotsi, Wits' team manager, admits that his side has been struggling.

"It is true that we have not been doing well, but we hope to bounce back at the expense of Celtic.

"I am happy that everybody is back in the team with the exception of a few with injuries,'' said Mogotsi

Wits supporters will be expecting nothing less than a win in order to improve their position on the log.

"Hopefully things will work out our way to register the second home victory of the season,'' saidd Mogotsi.

The Students had collected only four points at home after beating Orlando Pirates 1-0, losing 1-3 to Mamelodi Sundowns and drawing 1-all with Santos.

Mogotsi said striker Abram Raselemane is back in the team after recovering from injury, but midfielders Tebogo Mokoena and Paul Evans are still injured.

Khumbulani Konco, Celtic public relations officer, said Wits will be a tough outfit to play on home soil, particularly at night. But he was confident of winning.

"We had good preparations for this coming game. My boys have vowed to collect maximum points to be in contention for the league title at the end of the season,'' said Konco.

The Free State side are three points behind log leaders Ajax Cape Town.

Konco said they will be without their Uganda international defender, Timothy Batabaire, who will be starting his two-game suspension.

Lebohang Kukame and Petros Mahlatsi will lead the Celtic attack.
