The wage dispute between workers and the companies involved in the construction of stadiums such as Moses Mabhida in Durban and Green Point in Cape Town, needs to be resolved soon.

The wage dispute between workers and the companies involved in the construction of stadiums such as Moses Mabhida in Durban and Green Point in Cape Town, needs to be resolved soon.

My suggestion is that the Local Organising Committee (LOC) should intervene. The reason is that if such disputes do not get resolved soon, then the stadia will not be finished by October 2009 and our detractors, who doubt our capability to host the tournament, will laugh at us. The people involved should listen to the workers, stop being selfish and meet their demands. Please LOC, we need your help on this one.
