The annual Nedbank Matha Series, which will be held in Pretoria in January next year, marks a hectic programme for Athletics South Africa (ASA).

It takes place on January 19 at the High Performance Centre at the University of Pretoria, and a 5km fun run also forms part of the popular event.

ASA is using the race to promote and develop athletics across the country. They will stage six races of the series in different provinces next year.

The event was staged in Limpopo for the first time this year and the province will also host a race on March 29.

Mpumalanga will also host the series for the first time next year - in Nelspruit on April 5. The race is a pre-entry event and the entry fee is R40.

Mlangeni-Tsholetsane has warned that no entries will be accepted on the day of the race.
