No rest even in death

The phenomenon is as chilling as the possibility of it being true is sickening.

The phenomenon is as chilling as the possibility of it being true is sickening.

The nation was this week forced to face the harsh reality of modern day grave robbers in our midst.

The discovery of 18 used coffins in a house in Soshanguve, Tshwane, proves that not even the dead are safe from greedy people with criminal minds.

The dead are considered sacrosanct and their final resting places sacred in Africa.

The fact that their graves can be dug up, their coffins emptied of their mortal remains and resold to unsuspecting families is further proof there is no honour among thieves.

Thankfully, their luck ran out this time. Woe unto them.
