S'thembile Masango, 22, from Brackendowns, Alberton, lived a short life but left a mark on her friends, family and all the people who knew her.

Masango died in a car accident on Rivonia Road in Sandton on Saturday morning. The car in which she was travelling hit a roadside billboard.

Three other victims - Makhosazana Ngwenya from Bassonia Estate, Ipeleng Diphoko from Mafikeng and Comfort Hoffman from Middleburg - died on the spot.

Masango finished her primary education at Norkem Park Primary School in Kempton Park, and then attended her secondary education at Carleton Jones High School in Carletonville.

In 2003, she matriculated at Bracken High School in Alberton.The Boksburg-born ambitious Masango worked as a property consultant and was on the verge of starting her own company in the same industry.

At the time of her death, Masango had started her BCom Law degree with Unisa.

"She was a caring, assertive, ambitious, fun-loving and spiritual person," said Lesego Saohatse, a close friend since high school.

Her funeral service will be held at Jordan Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church in Katlehong tomorrow, and she will be laid to rest at South Park Cemetery, Els Park, in Ekurhuleni.
