Last year six players were promoted from the academy to the development, and Academy director Augusto Palacios believes the number will increase this time round. He said the academy accommodates boys and girls from five to 19 years old. To graduate to the development programme, which is a level higher, is a process.
Registration for the 2008 season has already started and will close at the end of November. The registration days are on Wednesdays from noon to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to noon. Call Gugu at 072-333-5026 for more information.
