Sowetan staffers have a collective good heart. As well as caring for the newspaper's readers, they have always gone the extra mile to soothe where there is pain. Just as recently, when Sowetan special project editor Victor Mecoamere and senior specialist writer Andrew Molefe distributed the clothes donated by their colleagues. The clothes were given to Zimbabwean refugees currently sheltered at the Johannesburg Central Methodist Church. The situation is still dire. You too can help. Clothes and canned food can be dropped off at Sowetan, 61 Commando Road, Industria, or if you want us to collect anything, tell us by calling 011-471-4000.
