This no doubt gives the NPA another opportunity to charge Jacob Zuma. This could not have come at a worse time for Zuma, what with a new leader about to be elected by the ruling ANC next month.

It seems President Thabo Mbeki is practising double standards because he was so quick to fire Zuma before a court of law could pronounce on his case.
I am accusing Mbeki of double standards because he failed to effect the same punishment on Police Commissioner Jackie Selebi, who is allegedly friends with criminals and is also accused of being involved in organised crime.
Not even a suspension for him!
This seems to confirm a political conspiracy against Zuma. No one is above the law in South Africa, but it seems this statement applies only to the poor and a select few.
It seems those who are on good terms with the president operate with impunity from the law, as in Selebi's case.
