A 67-year-old man was arrested in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni, yesterday for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl.
Police said the child's mother noticed that she was acting strangely when she arrived home late on Thursday. Police spokesman Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha said: "A neighbour forced the child into his shack at Winnie Mandela informal settlement. Inside the shack, he threatened to kill her if she made a sound before raping her."
