Land dispute

Leaders of two neighbouring churches in Tlhabane, near Rustenburg in North West, have asked the local magistrate's court to help settle a land dispute between them.

The Seventh Day Adventists and the Bethany Christian Centre in Unit 3 both claim ownership of a 2500 square metre piece of land in the area.

On Friday members of the churches filled the Tlhabane magistrate's court to support their leaders in the fight for the land.

But court officials decided that the case be dealt with in the magistrate's chambers. Only a few members were allowed into the office where the matter was postponed to December 5.
