Michael Hulley, Jacob Zuma's attorney said yesterday they would approach the Constitutional Court for leave to appeal two of the Supreme Court of Appeal judgments.

He said the defence would also "observe with keen interest" whether the rulings emboldened the NPA to again indict Zuma on any charges.

"Both rulings handed down had strong constitutional law imperatives which impacted fundamentally on Zuma's rights, and in turn on the rights of all South Africans," said Hulley.
