Parliament yesterday let the PSL bosses off the hook, allowing the league to decide what to do with the commission they earned for clinching the R500 million Absa sponsorship.

A furore arose around the commission to be earned by the likes of Irvin Khoza and Kaizer Motaung after the deal.

Finance Minister Trevor Manuel had accused Absa of bribing the PSL leadership.

Yesterday Khoza told Parliament they had an agreement in place to pay commissions, but that the debate was on the amount. - Waghied Misbach
