Giving their lives to the parties

***I have never experienced such a wonderful show in my entire life, I have to give it to the SABC and especially Sipho Sithole for the wonderful job they did on the Vuka Sizwe benefit concert. It was aimed at honoring Busi Mhlongo. Without a doubt, it was the show of the year. If you weren't there, you really missed the show of a life time.

***Firstly the venue was absolutely fabulous and appropriate. The stage was big enough to fit dancers of all sizes and hues. Unlike the stage at the SAMA's, this was beautiful. As for the guys from the SAMAs, I am not sure they have an idea of how a stage should look.

***Thandiswa Mazwai despite what the world might think of her, is nothing but talented. Her ability to sing in all the different music genres is just amazing. You did justice to Busi Mhlongo's Yapheli'mali'yam song. More than anything, you just rocked the crowed.

***Ringo Madlingosi, you are a star and I wonder what the music industry would be without people like you and Judith Sephuma, Sibongile Khumalo and Ray Phiri. You rocked the crowd, I think you brought back a lot of memories for us and those who have love for your music. If there's any gift I would request, is for you guys to keep blessing us with your music.

***I must say the highlight of it all was seeing our president grace the event. From start to end, he pushed the birthday cake for Busi - and I must say the cake was absolutely amazing. They must have had a large budget for the show. Well done to the SABC! Busi, we love you and the country is with you in this trying time.

***The YFM 10th birthday was a beautiful show with probably the best line up of artists, but the highlight of the show was not properly executed. Problem was not consulting people who understood Lebo Mathosa's performances. Watching that performance made me realize Lebo was the driving force behind Boom Shaka.

***I saw Pabi Moloi looking so hot and I mean hot! She has lost weight, sports short hair which suits her. She is just plain hot! She danced the night away. At 3am, she was still going strong with a short boy who behaved like he was her boyfriend. Nice!

***I also saw Tshepo Mabona at 3am at the YFM event. Isn't he married or something? He was trying to smuggle one of his friends into the event, with the same old trick "my ticket is inside I'll come out with it just now." Yeah right.

***I also saw Thebe who looked like he was enjoying all the drinks he had. He must have had half the bar backstage. Idea was not one of the best ever. The place was almost empty.

***I heard through the grapevine that Joan Ramagoshi is pregnant with her first child. Yeah, you thought living in Pretoria would keep you away from our paparazzi. Not on your life man!
