Mamelodi Sundowns, escaped by the skin of their teeth, when they narrowly beat Orlando Pirates 2-1 in a thrilling and an all-action Absa Premiership game at Loftus Stadium yesterday.
It was Pirates at their best in the opening minutes making sporadic but dangerous visits at the Sundowns goal area.
The side, with a lot of youngsters and no foreign player in their midst, played commendably well with their darting runs giving their more experienced opponents some anxious moments.
