Things are bad in Matatiele because Eastern Cape Premier Nosimo Balindlela and her government want the area to be part of her province.
She has gone as far as bribing the people of Matatiele to accept her proposal. I am surprised that Balindlela is now fighting for Matatiele because her government did not care about the people who were serviced by KwaZulu-Natal.
She knows that she is not wanted in Matatiele, but she keeps pushing her position.
I also condemn reporters on the radio station Umhlobo Wenene FM for lying when reporting about the Matatiele issue. Our radio station is Ukhozi FM.
The government says the people of Matatiele want to be part of the Eastern Cape. They are foolish to think that the people of such a lovely area want to be ruled by such a corrupt administration, which still practises apartheid.
Those who want to be administered by the Eastern Cape have been promised positions and money. There is no service delivery in this area and everything is far from Matatiele.
Friends are given jobs and the so-called mayor of Matatiele is dull, lazy and looks bored.
We don't want to be ruled by the Eastern Cape, but by KwaZulu-Natal. Instead of making Matatiele part of the Eastern Cape, let it fall under Limpopo. I do not want to be associated with Eastern Cape.
