Lamontville Golden Arrows plan to sustain their winning rhythm at the expense of the winless Santos at King Zwelithini Stadium today.

Kickoff is at 3.30pm.

Abafana Bes'thende are still on cloud nine after registering a 2-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns in an Absa Premiership match two weeks ago.

Richard Henyekane, one of Arrows' trusted players, said they were well aware that they have raised the hopes of their supporters and KwaZulu-Natal residents.

"We treat all the clubs equally, so there are no special arrangements for Santos. It will be a tough game, but our plan is to continue doing well.

"We want to finish 2007 in the top eight bracket," said Henyekane.

Santos striker Koena Mathopa said they were determined to win their first Premiership game of the season.

"We have been playing well but unlucky in terms of converting the opportunities created. It is a matter of time before we start banging them in," he said.

"Arrows will be a tough side to beat in their own yard, especially after the win over Sundowns where they had a great game.

"But we are going there with a positive frame of mind."

The People's Team played to a 1-1 draw against Bidvest Wits in their last game, where midfielder Thembi Kanono was sent off.
