Former Mozambican president Joachim Chissano says it is not a bad thing for the president of any country to run for a third term, but cautioned that it must be done in a fair manner.

One of the iconic figures who played a leading role in the emancipation of Africa from colonialism, Chissano was invited by the KwaZulu-Natal department of arts and culture to deliver the Albert Luthuli Memorial Lecture at the University of KwaZulu-Natal as part of the Luthuli National Legacy project.
