Yorkcor eager to make up for goalless draw

Mpumalanga Vodacom League side Yorkcor United coach Eddie Muamba yesterday said his side will be bounce back from last week's goalless draw Sekhukhune Masters, when they host Walter Stars in a league encounter.

The game is billed for Witklip Yorkcor White ground tomorrow at 3pm.

"My boys are playing well and they give me confidence that we will get all three points on Saturday," said Muamba yesterday.

"This season we are looking at finishing on top of the league and if we fail we are at least looking to settle for second position," said Muamba.

United are in second spot with 20 points after 10 games. Barberton City Stars, who host Sekhukhune Masters at Emjindini Stadium tomorrow at 3pm, lead the pack.

They have 23 points after the same number of games.

Senty Nkambule, chairman of Walter Stars, said: "After collecting our first maximum points last week we are looking at continuing with the winning form and moving away from the basement."
