Three men are sending shockwaves through communities by claiming that the world is on the brink of a catastrophe, and that Jesus Christ was not the son of God.
Spotted in Hazyview, Mpumalanga, the men - who wear tattered clothes - told Sowetanthey have been walking throughout the country for the past nine years and claim they were preaching the 'Word of God'.
Two of them claim they were from Bizana in the Eastern Cape, while the other said he came from Mtwalume, in KwaZulu-Natal.
Mduduzi, Bhekabantu and Siphosenkosi claimed that their surname was Mdali, which means Creator, and accused Christians of failing to practise what they preached, especially with regard to the Ten Commandments. "Most people who claim to be Christians are caught up in adultery, theft, corruption and everything the Ten Commandments warn against.
"This is proof that thehead of their church, Jesus Christ, was not the son of God and we want to tell people who the real son of God was. He was born Yashua, and when he woke up from the dead, he was called Ya' Hoshua," said Bhekabantu.
He said they would walk until Satan put the number 666 on the foreheads of all sinners.
Mduduzi claimed they lived on fruit, raw potatoes and raw onions, but welcomed food when offered.
