United have extended their unbeaten run in the NFD to three matches with a 3-1 drubbing of Durban Stars in a KwaZulu-Natal derby in Pietermaritzburg at the weekend.
United are on top of the log with nine points from three matches, while Stars are sixth on one point from the same number of outings.
Nathi Lions are roaring in second position on seven points.
Dynamos and University of Pretoria, alias AmaTuks, are still tied on seven points on top of the Inland Stream table after they fought out a 1-1 draw in Phalaborwa on Saturday.
The Dynamites finished the match with nine men after Klaas Galane was given marching orders and Rodney Thobejane was injured in the second half.
Thobejane could not be replaced because Dynamos had already made three substitutions at the time of his injury.
