Popular maskandi music group Izingane Zoma says they will support ANC deputy president, Jacob Zuma, until the end. They said if he goes down, they would go down with him because they believe he was being mistreated.

Nokwazi Mseleku, spokesman fro the group, said they decided to support Zuma, not because he was a Zulu, but because he was treated badly by those in power.

Speaking to Sowetan after donating food parcels, blankets, walking sticks and wheelchairs to the poor in Ntshwawini, KwaDukuza, on Friday, Mseleku said the decision to support Zuma was an easy one to make.

"Even a small child can see that there's something sinister behind all the charges laid against him. From the rape to corruption, it is clear that there are people waging a war against him. We felt we should show that he is not alone, and we would use our music to give him all the support he needs," said Mseleku.

Mseleku said since they have established a relationship with Zuma, the sales of their albums have sky-rocketed.
