Anglo Platinum, the world's biggest platinum producer, said on Friday it expected to lose up to 1300 ounces of refined platinum a day after it closed two more shafts at its largest mine. Angloplat, which closed one shaft at the mine on Wednesday after a miner was killed in a rockfall, said on Friday it had been ordered by the Department of Minerals and Energy to close two more shafts at the mine for safety reasons.
